About us

My love for the dachshund breed goes back over 20 years.  With our first dachshund being a stray that wondered onto our back porch one evening.  Skippy, a black and tan short hair, was very timid at first but my husband won him over by grilling him some hotdogs.  He quickly captured our hearts and became a member of our family.  

Almighty Maximus, a CKC registered red piebald, was our second dachshund and quickly became my devoted travel companion.  Max taught me so much in his short little life.  Sadly we said goodbye to him following a tragic accident when he was only 3 years old.

In 2017 we purchased our first AKC registered longhaired dachshund from a breeder in Texas.  We knew we wanted full breeding rights, although we were not certain at the time that we would ever breed.  It wasn't until 3 years later that we welcomed our first litter.  

We have a dedicated "dog room" in our home that allows our babies all the comforts that humans enjoy.
